Honestly, I'm not the guy who lives for writing code. I'm the guy who can't stop thinking about why a feature exists, who it's for, and whether it's actually solving the right problem. The building part? I do it and I do it well enough to own the whole thing. But what really drives me is the thinking that happens before any code gets written.
I like messy problems. The kind where there's no blueprint, no one to hand it off to, and the answer isn't obvious. That's where I'm most useful.
Owned 10+ features end-to-end — requirements, UX, architecture, deployment, and post-launch analytics. No PM, no designer, no handoffs.
Shipped the Live Predictions system (score forecasting, live leaderboard, check-in gating) from scratch — became the app's primary user acquisition driver within weeks.
Built the Personalised For You feed — single-bootstrap + 30s polling, tailored per user's favourite teams. Handled all iOS/Android edge cases solo.
Designed the Communications tab for venue operators — auto reminders, invite nudges, fill-spot campaigns.
Architected Push Notifications end-to-end: delivery pipeline, routing, read/unread logic, low-latency schema.
Set up product analytics across diff screens via PostHog — funnels, cohorts, DAU/WAU; daily Discord digests automated.
